Comfort Cool Wrist Thumb CMC Restriction Brace - Right Small

The Comfort Cool Wrist and Thumb CMC Restriction Splint is similar to the popular Comfort Cool Thumb CMC Restriction Splint, but with added length and a wide wrist strap to provide extra support to the wrist. Painful conditions such as Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel, De Quervains, Repetitive Stress Injuries, Sprains, and Strains to the wrist can benefit from these additional features while simultaneously supporting and protecting the thumb joint and ligaments.

Many have tried to imitate the Comfort Cool Wrist and Thumb CMC Splint, but it simply cannot be replicated. The patented contoured strap wraps under the thumb joint and is held securely in place by hook and loop, cradling the base of the thumb. The user can gently pull the strap tighter to adjust the compression level before attaching to the hook if more support and compression is desired. The thumb strap is then pulled upward and in between the thumb and forefinger and secured using a second small strip of hook.

The wide Wrist Strap is used to pull the edges of the brace together, creating compression from top to bottom. It is then wrapped around the wrist for additional support. The breathable, thin, perforated neoprene is soft, pliable, less bulky, and helps restrict thumb movement while still allowing gripping and grasping during daily activities. The material is designed to retain enough heat to help improve circulation, pain tolerance, and healing. The thumb sleeve can be trimmed with scissors below the MP joint to allow for upper joint mobility of the thumb.
