It features a patented contoured neoprene strap that wraps around the thumb CMC joint and the first metacarpal bone, providing direct support to the CMC joint. Specifically designed for conditions such as osteoarthritis and medial subluxation of the thumb CMC joint, the splint includes reinforced stitching, allowing it to be trimmed below the thumb MP joint if desired.
The splint provides gentle compression, which helps alleviate discomfort associated with thumb arthritis, instability, tendinitis, or repetitive motion. It is crafted from thin, 1/16" (1.6mm) perforated neoprene with a terry cloth liner, ensuring cool and comfortable wear. Plus sizes are available, designed to be half a size larger in the hand and a full size larger in thumb circumference, catering to individuals with enlarged thumb conditions. Importantly, the product is latex-free and comes in Black or Beige color options.
