Comfort Cool Thumb CMC Restriction Brace - Beige is designed in collaboration with renowned hand therapists to be the first choice among medical professionals. The contoured patented thumb strap wraps around the base of the thumb, providing joint protection and lightweight support.

This brace provides limited mobility to allow for the gripping and grasping of thumb and forefinger while still providing compression to swelling and stiffness associated with osteoarthritis and thumb joint inflammation.

Available in multiple sizes, the Comfort Cool Thumb CMC and Wrist Brace offers a more customized fit to provide gentle compression throughout the hand and wrist while allowing full finger function. It is important to follow the measuring instructions for a proper fit, as per the instructional video and size chart located in the images. Customers are advised to choose plus sizes for a full size larger in thumb circumference for swollen or enlarged thumbs, and a half size bigger in the hand. If in between sizes, it is recommended to size up to the next size. If desired, the splint can be trimmed below the MP Joint.

The Comfort Cool Thumb Spica, available in three lengths, is designed for sprains, post-fracture, tendonitis, arthritis, post-operative, and other thumb and wrist injuries. It features a wide thermoplastic insert that molds to the contours of the thumb and wrist to help limit movement.

The Comfort Cool Ulnar Booster is intended for ulnar (pinkie-finger) sided wrist pain, TFCC, ECU tendonitis, and midcarpal instabilities. It has support straps wrapped in counterforce opposition with a boost pad to pinpoint pressure over the ulnar head.

Lastly, the Comfort Cool D-Ring, Long Length brace is suitable for sprains, post-fracture, tendinitis, post-operative, and other wrist injuries. It has a metal stay that bends to the desired angle, and (4) Hook & Loop closures provide individual compression zones for added support.

All Comfort Cool products are intentionally designed for comfort, featuring edges in contact with the skin that are nearly free of stitching or excess bulky edging material for a softer, more gentle contact to help avoid skin irritation. They are made of thin, 1/16" (1.6mm) lightweight perforated neoprene with a soft terry cloth liner for comfort and to help absorb excess moisture. These products do not contain natural rubber latex and can be hand-washed in cool water with mild detergent and air-dried.
